East Geelong Osteopathy Services
Our osteopaths are committed to providing you with unique and individualised care. We offer a variety of services depending on the practitioners training and expertise and your specific health goals.
Osteopathy: A form of manual therapy that focuses on the musculoskeletal system to improve overall health by manipulating and strengthening the bones, muscles, and joints.
Dry Needling: A technique used to treat muscle and fascial pain and stiffness by inserting thin needles into the skin to stimulate trigger points or release areas of tension and improve blood flow.
Pregnancy Care: Supporting the physical health of women during pregnancy, including physical assessment, postural advice, strength and stability training and providing taping or additional supports where required.
Paediatric Osteopathy: A branch of osteopathy focused on treatment for musculoskeletal components of a wide range of problems affecting babies, children and adolescents. Our osteopaths have undergone post graduate training to be qualified to treat this patient group.
Biodynamic and craniosacral Osteopathy: A type of osteopathy that emphasizes the body’s innate healing abilities and aims to restore balance and harmony to the body’s systems. It involves a gentle approach to manual therapy, with a focus on the subtle rhythms and movements of the body. Laser therapy is a noninvasive technique used to stimulate healing in the tissues and reduce pain.
Our osteopaths welcome patients referred by their GP for Medicare team management care plans (medicare rebate available for chronic conditions), and patients covered by TAC, Workcover, DVA and Aged Care.
